You may have secured your PC by setting password. But you won’t be putting password in screensaver mode, will you?

In this tutorial I am going to show you how you can prevent your files from being copied illegally to any storage media or even inside one folder location to another location of same hard drive.

Before we begin with the tutorial, download this free utility which will be playing main role in this tutorial.

The downloaded file is a zip file; you’ll need to extract it.

After extraction install the program. Remember the location of the installation folder. It is usually in %systemroot%/Program Files/Prevent . The installer only extracts the file and while running toggles the registry values.

Go to the location where Prevent utility is installed. And open Prevent.exe.

Click on Define HotKey Field and press the shortcut keys you want to disable the copy and paste.

I clicked on the text input area of Define HotKey and pressed CTRL+ Shift + Q simultaneously.

Now Click on Activate button. After pressing Activate button, it will save the HotKey you defined with following screen:

As soon as you press activate button it will disable the copy paste feature of windows.

Now to disable it you’ll need to press the defined HotKey.

When you press the Hotkey in any part of the Windows it will enable copy/paste again with following screen:

Now go to the folder location where you’ve installed Prevent utility.

Right click on Prevent.exe, go to send to menu and create desktop shortcut.

This will create shortcut to desktop.

You may rename it whatever you want.

Now you can open Prevent utility from shortcut and always activate it if you’ve disabled it once.

This utility not only allows you to disable cut, copy and paste but also Delete, Copy To, Move To, Sent To, Renaming, Task manager’s End Process button.

Windows takes that password and encrypts it with one of the methods of encryption and then saves it into a file(with Windows XP it’s a SAM file located in system32). Now your password is no longer stored as admin, but rather something like 3ujf92+*?jdhsa=)jsadn , depending on the encryption method. However, we ask ourselves, why don’t we just take that encrypted password and decrypt it back to admin. The thing is we can’t because it’s a one way encryption and that is actually the point of it all. So how do we actually crack it?

1) Download Zip password Recovery Magic v6.1.1.169 from this link and install it

2) Launch Zip password Recovery Magic v6.1.1.169 and open winrar / winzip file that you want to crack

3)Choose attack method , there are 3 options : BruteForce , dictionary, booost – up.
Brute force actually means to start with a letter a and encrypting it. Then see if the encrypted strings match. If not then b, c, … until we’ve gotten . Then the encrypted strings will match and we’ll know that is the right password.Brute force attack is the slowest method of cracking, but there is no risk that you’ll not find the password. The thing about brute force is that the time of cracking rises rapidly depending on how long the password is, how many characters are being used in it and so forth.
A dictionary attack is a method of breaking into a password-protected computer or server by systematically entering every word in a dictionary as a password.

4) Click on Start , and wait, password will be cracked

I am going to teach you how you can do this from batch file with the help of autorun.inf file.
Let me tell you the basic things what will happen.

When you plug in in your Pen drive, system will look up for autorun.inf (incase if autorun is not disabled for your drive from the system).

Then we’ll input some command in autorun.inf in such a way that it will load the batch file that does the magic of copying all the files from your PC. In this demonstration I am copying only the files and folders in My Documents.

Here goes the batch code:

What it actually does is in first case ,CHECK it checks if your removable storage have Copied_files folder or not. If it doesn’t have then it creates one by using MD (Make Directory) command.

Again it checks if you have documents and settings folder then it will assume that you are using windows XP. Other wise it will return an error and exits.

This happens because; in Windows XP the user’s documents are usually stored in %systemroot%\Documents and Settings folder.

Now I’ve defined another two cases after the first case CHECK, that is COPIER case and ERROR case.

Case COPIER will execute when the program recognizes it is Windows XP, where the real coying work goes o.

Case ERROR will execute when the Documents and Settings doesn’t exists in your system root.

This is just a simple use of Batch programming. Copy the above code and paste it in notepad and save it as Filename.bat.

Now let’s create a file that will load it automatically.

The above code goes in autorun.inf file. Open notepad and copy it and paste it and save as autorun.inf.

Copy the two files, autorun.inf and Filename.bat in your flash drive.

Then plug in your device to your friends PC and do the evil things.

Where is the flaw?

It shows Command prompt window and process of copying (thank god your noob never think that it actually copying).

Another thing is that it determines the windows by searching the file users and Docuemnts and settings, which is not the right way to determine your system operating system.

However this is just an educational tutorial.

The number after -t is the number of seconds countdown there will be before shutdown . After -c write own message , that will come up when shutdown box pops up.

This hack will add a link above such photos with a link saying “See this Photo in its Album”. Clicking this link will reload the photo, but you’ll be viewing it inside the album that you couldn’t view without this hack.
When you’re viewing a photo that is in an album like this, the script (Greasemonkey script) will now add a link above the photo that says “Back to Album”. This will remove the photo from the page and load a thumbnail gallery of all photos in the album.

When viewing all photos of a user, on the page that shows photos of them and their albums etc., a link is added at the top to view all photos of them on one page.
This script however cannot get around Facebook’s security, so you will not be able to view photos that you can’t otherwise view.
Before I teach you how to apply this hack, I’ll be assuming that you are using Firefox Browser and have Greasemonkey script addon installed on it.
