A piece of data can be recovered till its place in the hard drive has been taken over by a new piece of data. It still sits there for the time being, till you either format your hard drive really good or replace that spot in the memory with something else like a new picture. This is how cops bust many people. By searching through their deleted files. But they take much more care with it of course. Thanks for posting this. Can never have enough tutorials on this for people. Just a note: Don't do anything if you accidentally deleted something. Get this first and hope it doesn't go over that memory address.

No, not one-two weeks. The data is there until it's overwritten. If you delete a file and write some new large files onto the disk, there's a good chance your data will be gone right away.

Deleted data will remain on computer at least one-two weeks.During that time you can restore data

No. memory has limit. When you delete file and empty the Recycle Bin , the file is still not really deleted. The file name is removed from the list of files in the folder or the Recycle Bin, and the space occupied by the file becomes available to the operating system to use for something else. But the disk space does not get re-used straight away, so the data contained in the file will remain intact for some time to come.
