“md” command is creating a folder at a specified location.
so…. you are not changing its directory, you are making creating folder with the same name in other directory…

Ok, so the creation of the folder is easy. But when I enter the eraseure command, “rd \lpt1\\” (minus the quotes, obviously) it tells me the directory is not empty. When I hover over the folder in the windows window, it says there are 6.00kb worth of something there, but there are no files in the folder, hidden or otherwise. They were removed. So, wtf? I can’t delete it, and I need to erase my tracks. I can’t move the directory, either, for some reason unknown to me. WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
